2025 K-Literature Fellowship Program
• We operate the "K-LiteratureFellowship Program" to promote the trading of Korean literary copyrights. Everyyear, we invite prominent international publishers to Seoul to provideopportunities for discussions on copyright transactions and literary markettrends between domestic and foreign publishers.
Eligibility
• The fellowship is open to international publishers/agencies interestedin publishing works by Korean authors
Program Details
• (Dates)September 8– September 11, 2025
• (Location) Coex Magok, Seoul
• (Participants) Around 50 Koreanand international publishers/agents
• (Requirements)
1) Haveat least five meetings with Korean publishers/agencies while in Seoul
2) Participatein required programs:
- IntroductorySession: Participants introduction and a presentation on Korean literary trends
- PitchingSession by leading Korean literature translators
- Korean Literature Copyright Fair
- Visiting Korean publishing companies andbookstores
3) Submita final report upon completion of the program

- Perdiem: KRW 50,000 per day for up to 4 days based on official schedule

2) Receiveapproval for your KLWAVE account (it may take 2-3 business days)
3) Clickon the ‘Events’ menu – ‘K-Literature Fellowship’ – ‘Apply’
4)Complete and submit the application form

• Completeness and validity of the application
• Track record and capabilities in publishing/promotingKorean literature
• Local visibility and reputation
• Potential for successful matchmaking andcopyright agreements with Korean publishers/agents
